Updated Market Stats for September 2020.
Stats are showing us more of the same. We sit at or around a 1-month supply of homes which is extremely low, keeping us in that “Seller’s Market”.
Trends I’m seeing being out and active in the field:
- Sellers – Pool homes and those with updated interiors are still going the quickest. This doesn’t mean you need to remodel your home before you list it though. However, it does mean you need to be realistic with your list price. Homes that are overpriced are the ones that are still sitting, even in this market. Price it right and your home will sell!
- Buyers – Be prepared to move quickly!!! Please please please be active in your searches. Homes are coming on the market and getting multiple offers within the first few hours! I know I sound like a broken record, but if you see a home you like, jump on it! There is plenty of research you can do in advance so you can move quickly: research the areas, neighborhoods, and schools you like best. Keep your search confined to those areas and when that one home comes up, view it, offer on it, and go fast!
